The Mercedes-Benz GLE350 has more torque and horsepower than the Velar but is only marginally quicker than the latter. The Macan, however, has the best handling among the rivals here and its compact dimensions help it to a great extent. The Porsche Macan matches up with the Velar in terms of power figures but is quicker than the Velar in the 0-60mph run. The overall handling and ride quality of the X5 is better than the Velar to some extent and it emphasizes more on offering a pleasurable driving experience rather than a rugged feeling. The BMW X5 is the most powerful one here with the quickest acceleration times but has the highest base price too. Regardless of the size of the brakes, the SUV is equipped with several braking features such as ABS, Brake Assist, and Cornering Brake Control to offer superb braking performance in almost every driving scenario. The Range Rover Velar gets decent-sized brakes as compared to its dimensions and weight.
